Private Wahiba Sands & Wadi Bani Khalid 4x4 Adventure from Muscat
Overview
Discover two of Oman's most impressive landscapes on one private full-day adventure. We leave Muscat early and travel by 4x4 into the Wahiba Sands, where your guide lets the tyres down for an exciting off-road drive over the dunes before we visit a Bedouin family for coffee, dates and a taste of traditional hospitality (camel rides can be added on the spot). From the desert we continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most beautiful oases in the country, framed by mountains and palm groves; there is time to swim, relax or walk deeper into the wadi with your guide. Lunch is at a local Omani restaurant, and we stop in the old village of Fanja on the way home. Private transport, hotel pickup and an English-speaking Omani guide are included.

Best day of our honeymoon
Wadi Bani Khalid in the morning and Wahiba Sands in the afternoon — two completely different worlds. Sandboarding was a laugh and the camels were very photogenic.
