The adventure of a lifetime, designed for travellers who want to sleep under the stars every night the landscape allows. After a hotel night in Muscat we hike and swim Wadi Shab and camp on Fins beach with a barbecue. We visit Sur and Wadi Bani Khalid, then watch sunset and sunrise over the Wahiba dunes from our desert camp. A three-hour off-road drive leads through the sands to the remote coast of Barr Al Hikman, where we camp again by the sea, before climbing to Jabal Shams to pitch the tent on the rim of the Grand Canyon. The mountain day explores Misfat Al Abriyeen, Al Hoota Cave and Nizwa's souq and fort before a hotel night in Muscat, and the last full day is spent snorkelling at the Daymaniyat Islands with a seafood lunch. Your guide sets up the rooftop tents, cooks dinner and breakfast on every camping night and drives the 4WD throughout.
